Architects info

Customers ask how we obtain our information about architect firms and there are several answers to this. Firstly, we have been collecting contact data on architects for some 14 years so we have gradually built the size of the database as more architects start up in business. Secondly, there’s data mining. There are lots of sites on the Internet that provide some (usually limited) lists of architects for various purposes. If we find the name of firm of architects that we don’t have already on our database, then we phone them.

Our golden rule is – we never list a firm that we have not contacted ourselves.

Even many corporate websites are often out of date so phoning the company is the only way to make sure we get up-to-date information.

We also check out awards lists and read industry publications to pick up names of new firms. It’s an ongoing process but the main push comes over late April to end June when our team of researchers get on the phone to contact every architect firm listed in the Directory.

Here's a sample of some the CD database. All CDs are in Excel format.
